National Home Security Month, is generally abbreviated to NHSM, and started in 2013 as a response to increasing concerns that people are not considering the security of their properties as carefully as they should. Quickslide support the NHSM campaign every year in October to make homeowners aware that they odd to thoroughly check the security levels of their homes.

Three quarters of UK homes have very little security in place, so in time for the clocks to go back and shorter daylight hours, the campaign surrounding the National Home Security Month is an important reminder to make sure your home is as secure as it possibly can be.
