Aluminium French Doors

Our aluminium French doors are the perfect solution for both residential and commercial applications. They are ease of maintenance and built to last whilst keeping the traditional charm of a French door. The doors are manufactured using the same slim-line aluminium profile used on our bi-folding doors.

Here at Quickslide, we are industry-leading manufacturers of windows and doors. We supply high-quality products that will be perfectly suited for both residential and commercial properties. Use our online pricing engine to request your aluminium french doors quote.

Material

Aluminium French doors offer strength, durability and are highly resistant to corrosion. Aluminium is the perfect door material for openings not quite large enough for a sliding or folding door. The strength of aluminium enables you to get a door that features super slim sightlines resulting in less frame and more glass. We also offer a range of aluminium bi folding doors.

Design

French doors were traditionally used to add an attractive country feel to the home. However, the introduction of aluminium has enabled us to offer a contemporary design on a traditional product. The doors can be combined with side and top panels to create a solution that suits your home perfectly. You also have the option to specify either outward or inward opening based on your requirements.

Choose between white or grey for your new French doors. White French doors are usually the most popular with our customers as they create a clean, modern finish and match well with white windows. Grey French doors are also becoming more popular as they look stunning paired with more traditional brickwork. You also have the option of requesting dual colour e.g. grey on the outside and white on the inside. Other colours are available upon request but may be subject to a minimum order quantity. Please get in touch to discuss.

Our standard door handle used on the traffic door is a lever/lever handle. The levered handle offers a smooth grip and a quality like no other. If you’re looking for something a little different and unique why not choose the traditional swan handle.

Hardware Colour Options

The standard glass unit used in our aluminium French door is 28mm in depth and is comprised of 4mm toughened clear glass to the outside, a warm edge spacer bar and 4mm toughened clear Low E glass on the inside.

Warm edge spacer bars insulate the edges of a sealed glass unit and separate the panes of glass. Traditionally, spacer bars were made of aluminium, however the warm edge spacer bar used in our glass units is an extruded PVC material specifically designed to reduce transference of heat between the panes of glass keeping more heat inside the property. The spacer bar is available in 3 different colours; grey, black and white.

Performance

Weather Performance

Our aluminium French doors utilise the latest polyamide thermal break technology avoiding cold bridging (energy that is transformed through the frame, causing heat loss). The doors also come with multiple rubber seals and draught excluders helping to ensure that nothing, but sunlight passes through the doors.

Energy Rating

Today’s glazing products have seen incremental improvements in terms of energy ratings and our French doors certainly aren’t an exception. As standard, our French doors come with 28mm double glazed argon-filled units incorporating soft coat toughened safety glass. With a suitable triple-glazed glass unit our French doors can achieve u-values as low as 1.4W/m²K.

Guarantee

With all Quickslide aluminium French doors, there is a 10-year manufacturing guarantee as standard. We strive to ensure that our quality is assured but having a 10-year guarantee offers peace of mind for years to come.

Security

One of the most important considerations when buying new windows and doors is security. Rest assured that our aluminium French doors have some of the most effective locking systems available on modern doors. Our PAS 24 upgrade includes a large range of enhanced features such as high security cylinders to truly safeguard your home. We are proud to promote that all our doors, from composite to patio doors are now PAS 24 approved.
