We brought home a trophy at the Clearview Golf Day!

On the 29th of June, members of the Quickslide team travelled down to the Hickleton Golf Club in Doncaster, South Yorkshire for Clearview and Pro Installer magazines’ inaugural Golf Day. Combining 18 holes of golf on a beautiful course, a lovely dinner, and a charity auction for Hope House Children’s Hospices, it was a great day for everyone who attended!
Our team of both office and production staff was clearly a winning combination, as we managed to return to Brighouse with a very shiny winner’s trophy for the second year in a row! We even beat our own winning score from last year by one point. Plenty of other golfers in attendance also headed home with trophies. There was a competition to Beat the Pro, as well as to get Nearest the Pin, so there were lots of opportunities for success.
We were proud to be sponsoring the event, along with other industry greats like our good friends and customers from Chigwell Window Centre (the main event sponsor) and our long-standing uPVC casement extruder Deceuninck. It was fantastic to see our logo on display as we went through the course.
As a people-first business, we love getting together with others in our industry. Throughout the golf, dinner, and auction, our team had the opportunity to chat with industry friends both old and new.
All the money raised at the auction went to GM Fundraising in support of Hope House Children’s Hospices, a cause we’re always happy to get involved with. Hope House are dedicated to supporting families facing the death of a child, offering their services and unwavering support to children and families living in Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid and North Wales.
Her knowledge and expertise have been honed by working closely with the rest of Quickslide’s extensive team of professional manufacturers, letting her learn the ins and outs from direct sources. Her B2B experience is further enhanced by Quickslide’s long list of trade partners, offering additional insight into the manufacturing and installation process of sash windows, bifolds, flush windows, patio doors, and more.
