Quickslide wins trophy for window industry at business awards.

The current G Awards Fabricator of the Year Quickslide has picked up another accolade, this time in a awards scheme that recognises business achievements in the company’s home town of Brighouse, Yorkshire.

Quickslide won the accolade of Large Business of the Year in the annual Brighouse Echo Business Awards, which were announced in March at a glittering awards dinner attended by a huge cross-section of local business people. Quickslide qualified for the award by demonstrating significant growth along with innovation. The judges recognised that Quickslide had expanded its production range and taken on more staff since locating in the town and acknowledged the company’s high standard of customer service, its efficiency and after sales support, and noted that the company is proud of its health and safety record and is in the process of taking in apprentices who will receive on the job and academic training.

Ben Weber, Quickslide’s Commercial Director, said that the award signalled far more than recognition for the company: This award was made against other businesses of all types, from a range of backgrounds and some big names. What we are particularly proud of is that this is a coming of age for the replacement window and door industry and shows that our sector is at last shrugging off its old double glazing image. Quickslide is part of any industry that we can be proud of, that sets standards against industry across the board now and wins!
