28mm double glazing is the standard with our French doors. As well as double glazing, our doors come with a warm edge spacer bar made from an extruded PVC material specifically designed to reduce transference of heat between the panes of glass keeping more heat inside the property. The glass used in our PVCu French doors is comprised of 4mm clear toughened glass to the outside and 4mm clear Low E toughened glass on the inside.
Triple glazing is made up of three panes of glass with air or argon gas within each of the two pockets. Triple glazing work in the same way as double glazing although with triple glazing you get an extra pane of glass and an extra insulation barrier. The extra pane of glass offers better insulation values. Triple glazing is popular in the Nordic countries where temperatures reach well below 0.
You have the option of upgrading to acoustic lamination for excellent noise reduction. This upgrade features two 3mm pieces of glass are put together with a noise reducing interlayer. You can also opt for an argon gas insert between the glazed unit which reduces the heat conductance between the panes.
Our obscure glass range provides both substance and style. All patterns are classified according to their level of obscurity in relation to each other, with one being least obscure and five being most obscure.
Venetian Integral Blinds
Our Venetian integral blinds come in a variety of 10 different colours to complement your chosen frame finish. Integral blinds are available on our complete product range excluding bespoke shapes. Please note that the operational device will always be positioned on the right-hand side (viewed internally).

The locks that we use are all tested thoroughly and regularly to check that they will secure all homes against unwanted intruders.
The uPVC profile that we use has multiple chambered, whilst the aluminium profile has a polyamide thermal break. We also use seals on our French doors to enhance the resistance against cold draughts and water ingress from entering Birmingham homes. The only thing homeowners will enjoy from the outside is the sunny weather. You can sit back and relax knowing that our French doors are designed to keep you and your home secure.
The uPVC and aluminium profiles that we use for our French doors provide slim sightlines for Birmingham homes. This will give homeowners excellent views of their garden and can flood their property with natural daylight. No matter the time of year, you can open up your home to the outside and enjoy the undisturbed views. Your brighter home will then feel more spacious and homely.

Are French doors better than patio doors?
For the homeowner, French doors and patio doors offer different benefits. The latter come without a swinging arc, making them a space saving option. However, double doors offer unobstructed access, further improved through our low threshold option.
