The WER scale goes from ‘G’ up to ‘A++’ rating. As standard, our Legacy uPVC sliding sash windows reach an ‘A’ rating with our double glazed units and multi chambered uPVC frames. With all their contemporary features taken into account, in an optimal environment, our classic looking sash windows can reach U-values as low as 1.4W/m²K with further enhancements in development as we speak. We even have 90-degree mechanical joints available which replace the usual 45-degree uPVC weld.
As of March 2024, we’ll also have the addition of a slim midrail available for our Legacy sash windows. The slimmer midrail provides increased sightlines and an even closer appearance that matches the classic proportions of a timber sliding sash.
