Description

The brief was clear: to update the property with modern, energy-efficient windows and doors that would complement and preserve the building’s historic character. For this, Veevers Windowseal partnered with Quickslide for the first time.

“I came across Quickslide through a targeted email and social media marketing campaign,” says Marcus Whitehead of Veevers Windowseal. “I was actively looking at new suppliers and was impressed by their products and competitive pricing. We also wanted all the windows to feature an ovolo profile for symmetry across the property.”

Quickslide supplied a total of 12 cream woodgrain sliding sash windows, four matching casement windows, a single cream woodgrain casement door and a composite door, all chosen to echo the property’s original period features while offering top-quality performance.

The functionality of Quickslide’s sliding sash windows was a standout benefit, says Marcus: “Being able to easily remove the sashes for maintenance or cleaning is a real bonus, especially when fitting larger frames. It’s a thoughtful design feature that really makes a difference on site.”

Marcus found the whole experience of working with Quickslide seamless and felt well-supported. “The sales team was incredibly helpful throughout the ordering process,” he notes. “They guided me every step of the way and ensured everything went smoothly.”

When asked what advice he’d give to other trade companies considering Quickslide, Marcus is quick to suggest: “It never hurts to get a quote outside your usual supplier. You too might be pleasantly surprised.”
