Jack and Sharon’s farmhouse in Beltoft has been a real labour of love. After relocating from Halifax, just around the corner from Quickslide’s Brighouse factory, they started redecorating the entire property to make it their own. Once the interiors were taking shape, the next natural step was to replace the old windows and doors.

Description
The couple were keen to install sliding sash windows that would complement the character of their farmhouse while delivering the performance expected from a modern home. Following a recommendation from a previous customer and having known of Quickslide from their time living nearby, the decision was an easy one to make.
For this project, Jack and Sharon chose 19 uPVC sliding sash windows, seven uPVC casement windows and two uPVC flush French doors, all finished in classic white woodgrain. The sash windows were completed with brushed chrome hardware, striking the right balance between traditional aesthetics and contemporary detailing. The French doors were a key part of the overall transformation, helping to open up the home and bring in more natural light.
