Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare, manage, and track quotations and tenders for newbuild, commercial, and large-scale residential projects.
  • Interpret architectural drawings, schedules, and specifications to prepare accurate costings using Business Micros Evolution or equivalent software.
  • Liaise with developers, architects, main contractors, and installers to clarify technical requirements and project details.
  • Maintain ownership of the quotation process through to order confirmation, ensuring pricing accuracy and commercial viability.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations and support the sales team in converting enquiries to confirmed orders.
  • Act as the central point of contact between external stakeholders (developers, architects, contractors) and internal departments (sales, technical, production, scheduling, despatch).
  • Manage project timelines and communicate clearly across all parties to ensure smooth progression from quote to manufacture.
  • Ensure all project documentation, drawings, and approvals are accurately recorded, version-controlled, and shared across relevant teams.
  • Proactively identify risks, delays, or specification changes, and coordinate with the appropriate departments to implement solutions.
  • Support site and technical teams with product information, sample requests, and compliance documentation when required.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by maintaining professional and timely communication throughout each project stage.
  • Provide clients and internal stakeholders with regular project updates, progress reports, and milestone tracking.
  • Support the Commercial Sales Team in maintaining strong long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Ensure that customer expectations are effectively managed and exceeded wherever possible.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records within CRM and internal tracking systems.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for Sales Director detailing pipeline status, conversion rates, and project progress.
  • Monitor and report on key project KPIs, including quotation response times, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Assist in the continual development of processes and systems to improve efficiency and communication between departments.

Description

As an Internal Sales Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full lifecycle of newbuild and commercial fenestration projects — from initial enquiry through to order handover and completion.
You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotations, coordinating between developers, architects, and internal departments, and ensuring all aspects of each project are delivered to specification, on budget, and on schedule.
This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role requiring excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as strong commercial awareness and technical understanding of windows, doors, and glazing systems.

The Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience include:

  • Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents.
  • Commercially astute with strong numerical and analytical ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
