Production Shift Manager
Information
Location: Brighouse
Hours: Fixed shift patterns either 4am-12pm or 4pm-12am Monday-Friday each week.
Salary: Negotiable
Main Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating production teams across multiple departments to achieve daily output goals.
- Overseeing stock management, resource planning, and staffing levels to keep everything running smoothly.
- Championing health & safety, ensuring SOPs are followed and PPE is worn at all times.
- Driving quality assurance by managing audits, monitoring standards, and handling remakes where needed.
- Planning, scheduling, and resolving issues quickly to reduce downtime and keep operations on track.
- Delivering live reports on achievements, targets, and performance metrics.
- Coaching and developing staff, managing training matrices, and encouraging cross-training to create a flexible workforce.
- Leading performance reviews and return-to-work meetings while promoting a positive, productive culture.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by reviewing systems and processes, and implementing smarter ways of working.

The Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience include:
- Proven supervisory experience managing multiple teams.
- Strong people management skills — motivating, developing, and communicating effectively.
- Confident decision-making and independent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office essential).
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Product knowledge of manufacturing processes (fenestration experience would be a bonus).
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to train).
