CNC Operator

Location: Brighouse
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm OR Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am
Salary: Negotiable
Main Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC machines to fabricate aluminium and uPVC windows & doors.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and CAD files.
- Ensure all components are produced to the highest standard, with minimal waste.
- Monitor production processes and carry out quality control checks.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and the production planning team to ensure workflow efficiency.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join our dynamic team in Brighouse. This role is ideal for someone comfortable operating manufacturing machinery, with great attention to detail and a passion for precision manufacturing. You’ll play a critical part in the fabrication of high-quality uPVC windows, using state-of-the-art CNC machinery.
The Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience include:
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with fenestration products (windows, doors, etc.).
- Basic mechanical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good understanding of Safe Systems of Work.
- Experience with Shirmer and Stuga or similar CNC systems would be an advantage.
- Forklift licence or other factory equipment training would also be desirable.
