Location: HQ Brighouse - Road Based

Hours: Mon-Fri: 6am Start

Salary: Negotiable incl. attractive allowance

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers, Hours and Working Time Directive Regulations
  • Making multiple customer deliveries and collections (where required)
  • Ensure that paperwork is completed promptly and accurately and items are scanned when required
  • Complete regular vehicle checks to ensure legally compliance and report any defects on the vehicle to the Commercial Director
  • Lifting finished windows and doors onto carts and moving them to the despatch area
  • Scanning windows, ensuring they are stored safely in the correct locations
  • Loading windows onto 18 tonne vehicles
  • Assisting customers with collections
  • Using the computer system to locate windows
  • Handling glass
  • Working safely in line with the standard operating procedures

We are looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver/Loader to join our despatch team based at our Brighouse site. The role will involve driving for 26 weeks of the year covering holidays and then the remaining time working as a loader within the despatch team.

The hours of work when driving will be Monday to Friday starting at 6.00am and when loading will be Monday to Thursday 12.00pm - 8.00pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, with a requirement to work overtime on a rota basis.
